about
I am an Integrative Psychotherapist who is UKCP registered and I abide by their codes and ethics. As part of this I am committed to my own on-going development.
I trained at the Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education, gaining a Masters in Adult Integrative Psychotherapy and Diploma in Adolescent Counselling. I did my clinical training at Whipps Cross Hospital Acute Psychiatric Unit (Naseberry Court), in the Counselling Department at London Metropolitan University and with the charity Kid’s Company.
I have been running my own London based practice since 2005. I also work for various charities as a consultant running groups for adults and adolescents on many aspects of personal development and as a Sessional counsellor. Before this I was an actor.
I have particular experience of working with issues such as depression, anxiety (performance anxiety), stress, divorce or separation, self-harm, childhood issues, bereavement or loss, cultural issues, work/life balance, loneliness, low self-esteem, eating disorders, relationship problems, anger management, sexuality, trauma, stage fright, work place issues, times of transition, personal growth and with clients who are trying to find meaning in their lives.
